Pressure from your matesMates get on your back and put you under pressure to behave differently or in ways you don’t really want to. It is hard to resist because you might not have the self confidence to say no. You might even think it is the thing you should do. The pressure is often a negative pressure, not to fit in, not to do well, not to be a swot or succeed. We can all have our behaviour affected by others, so try and choose a group of friends you feel comfortable and relaxed with. This will help take the pressure off. Try not to do things you don’t want to do. Be your own man! And remember... Just talk! |

Girls, pain or pleasure? |
||
| As you grow up you begin to notice girls more,
don’t feel under pressure from mates. The girls are still people and
they are changing. We need to respect them as much as we want to be
respected by others.
