After undergoing the trauma of the 'Sorting Hat' the young wizards and witches experienced their first lessons in magic. Professor Albus Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts Academy introduced himself and gave the young pupils their first magical master class. Youngsters watched on with a mix of wonderment, excitement and even amusement!
