| Professor Dumbledore came to meet the new
students and show them how to perform amazing magic tricks. He taught us
how to balance a beaker on a playing card. He also showed us how to change
one card into another using a special envelope. Another trick we were
shown was a magic rope trick.
How to do the card balancing trick well. On the back of the card there is secret slide. To make the slide you need two normal playing cards. Fold one in half and stick one side of the card onto the non bent one. Let it dry. When you stand the beaker on the card you let the flap open. This holds the cup up. Report by Craig Killey
