Daily Diary by Annie woodcock and Nicola Henderson

Day 6, Wednesday 2nd August

Dear Diary

Today we went to a flight museum called Duxford we went on coach and it took 3 and half-hours. When we got there we went on a plane called the Dragon Rapide which was a 1930’s plane it was amazing! Some people were nervous at first but when they went on it they thought it was great.

The plane had about 8 seats and was very small and we had to wear earphones because it was so noisy! But once we got up in the air the view was breath taking. When we landed it was a bit bumpy but not as bumpy as we expected.

After we went on the plane we went into the museum and looked at all the old warplanes and tanks. Then we went outside to look in a modern plane to compare the difference. After that we went into a more modern museum and we went inside the plane Concorde it was HUGE! At the end of the trip we went to the gift shop and bought some souvenirs of our exciting and impressive trip.
