| Daily Diary by Louis Dorton
and Richard Colbeck. Day 7, Thursday 3rd August
Dear Diary, Makin' Things Today we were working on our websites again. We designed a Web page about our trip to RAF Duxford. Duxford is near Cambridge and is a museum of 'Flight'. We went on 2nd August. The reason for our visit was to fly on the aeropane you can see below. It is a 1930's De Havilland Dragon Rapide
Annie was a little worried but after the flight said she wouldn't have missed it for the world. Louis' quote: "I felt really excited about the flight and I looked forward to telling my uncle all about it because someone in his family built it and when he was a kid he made models of aeroplanes and the Dragon Rapide was one of his favourites." We designed our major display board and then it was lunch. After we had eaten we continued working hard and started to actually build our display board which shows you a Phoenix as a background to our presentation. |
