Day 3, Friday 28th July

Today was the third day of summer school and we started it by working on our front covers. Then three people came from Kingston Internet and talked to us about the internet. They gave us a question sheet and we had to find the answers by surfing the net. Liam commented, "I liked finding the information to answer the questions, I particularly enjoyed the 'NASA' page!"

After that we talked about designing the web page. We went for lunch and tried some more circus skills which included Juggling, Devil Sticks, Unicycle, Stilts, Plate Spinning and other exciting activities. Katie exclaimed,"I enjoyed walking on the stilts but it made my legs go numb!" while Michael stated, "I'm useless at these things, the only thing I'm good at is cheating! "

This afternoon we had go at using a program called 'Pro Desktop'. Mr Pinchbeck showed us how to use it and we designed our own futuristic aircraft. Chris enthused , " 3-D modelling has been fantastic, my futuristic aeroplane is great!" Once again, we have greatly enjoyed the day.
