Day 5, Tuesday 1st August

Today we went on a visit to the Hull Daily Mail. We had a guided tour around the building.The tour guide,called Stewart Markham, took us in groups around the Hull Daily Mail. We saw the editorial, advertising, photography, computer rooms and lots more.

It was fun in the room where they made the newspapers, it was very noisy. We had to wear ear plugs and had to wear blue plastic bags on our feet because of the ink on the floor. At the end of the visit we were given a presentation about the Hull Daily Mail website.

Here are some of the comments of the day; "The day was fun especially the printing room" says Liam. Michael said "I enjoyed learning about the different editions of the Hull Daily Mail."
