Day 2, Thursday 27th July

Our day began with us finishing our reports from the previous day. Later we had a talk from Andrew White a designer from British aerospace came and talked to us about aircraft, past, present and future.

He then showed us how to make model aeroplanes, which would fly with an elastic band. We then made our own. After our dinner we went outside and looked at a remote control plane.

We then tried to develop our ideas to make a better aircraft design.

We asked two members of our group Kelly Langley and Aimee Stewart what they liked most about today Kelly Langley aged 11 said, "The best part of the day was making and flying our planes. The record was 1 minute and 10 seconds. I also liked going on the computers and typing up my news report"

Aimee Stewart, aged 11 said, "It was good. I liked building and flying the planes and mine was finished first.
