Andrew White who came from Bae systems taught us about the history of aeroplanes by using a time line. We learnt that Leonardo Da Vinci discovered that humans can’t fly because our bones are too heavy. We also discovered that the Wright Brothers made the first aeroplane in 1930. Everyone including adults made a model plane, from foam and balsa wood. It was powered by an elastic band and a propellor. We had a few test flights, then learnt how to modify them to fly longer.Tarik had a time of 9.5seconds. He said , "I’m pleased and surprised how well it flew." We all thought it was a superb day.
