Day 9, Thursday 3rd August

Tony Smith and one of his staff from Smith + Nephew, kindly gave up their time to come and show us how to do good presentations.
They did 2 sample presentations, one good and one bad and we had to decide which was which and what was good and bad about them. Tony then gave us 30 minutes to use his ideas to create a short presentation about the members of our group.

We all said what was good and bad about each groups presentation and then Tony gave us some tips to remember for our presentations tomorrow.

The afternoon was really crazy as everyone was busy drawing pictures, printing out designs and making models (see below our expertly made 1:400 scale model by Mark).

Some groups were running out of glue and sellotape, some were still deciding what their stadium would look like and some were busy practicing their presentation!

Our group had a master plan!
We decided to do a quiz instead of a normal presentation. The quiz show will be called Know Your Town and is set in the future. Our stadium design has been built and contestants are quized on how much they know about it, wicked!
