Why the name?

The name "Triple Crown Super Stadium" is after the "Three Crowns of Hull" on the the crest of Hull.

The stadium is oval in shape (looking from above) but the top edge is shaped liked the top of a crown, This is to make it look like a giant crown, or rather the three crowns of Hull stacked on top of each other.

You can see this by the blue wavy lines that go all the way around the stadium to show the three crowns. The curvy top edge hides the poles that have wires that hold up the the canopy around the ground. Every now and then there is a bigger curve bit that has lights on it so that it looks like a crown from outside.

The stadium will be built of a a golden coloured concrete or bricks to look like a gold crown and the seats will be blue inside. There will be blue bricks as well to show the three crowns around the sides. The colours of blue and gold mean that it is like the Hull City Council colours but not like the colours of any of the local teams that will play there. This is so that all the teams will be happy to use the stadium because they will not get upset by the other teams colours. The gold represents the colour of the crown and the blue is like the water of the River Hull and the River Humber on which Hull stands.
