Day 1.

Today was our first day and a very nervous time for all of us. We didn't know anybody in our group, not even the teacher. Our teacher is called Mr Palmer and the children in my group are called Kristopher(spike), Hannah, Sarah, Lewis and me Lee! First of all we had an introduction by Chris Holland (Co-ordinator). He put us into groups and gave us time to get to know each other. We had 10 minutes to think up a name for the group we were in. We called ourselves The Civilians after the people involved in the Civil War.

Then we had John Fewings who learnt us different memory techniques. We made up a list of 20 different items and we had to remember them by putting the items on different points of your body. At first it looked harder than hard, but in the end it was really simple and easy.

After lunch we had some people come in and show us lots of different juggling skills. We used balls, little seethrough handkercheifs, and clubs! There were also devil sticks. Devil sticks are two little sticks and one big stick,you have to keep the big stick(devil stick)in the air by hitting it with the little sticks. It was very hard.
