The Civilians have had
a day learning Information Technology skills, these
include searching the World Wide Web, designing there own
web pages about visiting The Deep site. Rob Terry a web
designer from Kingston Internet was showing the groups how to design
web pages. At dinnertime the groups got involved in a
line dancing session, including the songs Ruby Ruby, Achy
breaky heart, and 5, 6, 7, 8. In the afternoon the groups were designing there own web pages in the computer suite at Sutton Park primary school with some easy tips from Mr Pinchbeck. Quote from Spike (Kristopher Hopkins)"I've enjoyed the day thoroughly and look forward to the day we continue on the web." More work in the future will involve website development aiming towards a completed piece of work posted on the web.
