Daily Diary, Friday 30th July
Today the studants of the EAZ's Summer School have talked with John Lawson,Linda Martin and Jill King about various aspects of the Deep.
These aspects included areas about land scaping the area and street furniture related to seas and oceans. The group also discussed ideas about a deep logo and slogan. Ideas were also considered for attracting more tourists from the city centre to the deep sight. These ideas included dressing people in sea life costumes who handed out information and providing an electric bus shaped like an eel to transport people to the sight then having them walk back to the city centre via the new footpath bridge. We also talked about using the world wide web for sales and promotion.
During their dinner break the students brushed up on their circus skills including balancing, juggling, stilt walking and plate spinning.
In the afternoon we listened to Pat Doyle and then came up with our own ideas for a futuristic stadium for Hull, some of the ideas we came up with included a retractable roof, a dome stadium and an octagonal stadium.
