Monday 26th July

On Monday morning we all came for the first day of this Summer School. We arrived keen and willing to give up two weeks of our summer holidays to come to this Summer School.

We started off by meeting Chris Holland[the Summer School co-ordinator.

Then we were split into six groups and had a few minutes to get to know our group members and our leader.

We met John Fewings,who taught us some memory skills.

Then after our lunch we learnt some Circus Skills which included some plate spinning and some juggling.

After that Stuart Markham from the Hull Daily Mail talked to us about report writing.

Then he talked about taking a good photograph.

Everyone enjoyed the first day and was looking forward to the rest of the Summer School.
