On Thursday we went to Sunderland Stadium of light . It took us over two hours to get there by coach.

The first thing we did when we got there was to meet our guide for the day who was called Dick.

During the tour we visited all parts of the stadium and this included looking in the home and away changing rooms. In the home changing room all the players shirts were hung on pegs around the room.

We were told lots of interesting facts about the stadium and that it is built on the site of a former coal mine.
