1. To take a group of children to Rotterdam on a fact finding mission to understand the needs of young tourists visiting 'The Deep' and the city of Hull.

2. To allow the children to have an experience of a different culture, language and national heritage.

Six youngsters from the original summer school, now in year 7 at Winifred Holtby High School, attended after school sessions with staff from the EAZ and EMIH Ltd, over a period of several months.
