| As the facilitator
of Co-operative learning at The dales Primary School, I have thoroughly
enjoyed helping to introduce and develop a new way of teaching and
learning. I have been given the opportunity to lead the strategies being
developed across the school, observe the impact of these developments on
pupils and celebrate with teachers the gains that have been made.
As a school we have now developed a new professional
language and the ability to utilise a teaching programme which fosters
independent learning in classrooms.
Regular contact with facilitators in the Networked
Learning Community has enabled learning about Co-operative learning
Strategies across schools to take place.
In using my government bursary funding, I have been able
to observe the Co-operative Learning Strategies being used in various ways
in other schools within the NLC and to share this learning with the rest
of my school team.
I have also used this funding to support the development
of Co-operative learning at The Dales Primary School. It has been a privilege
to observe the children working using the strategies in their own
classroom environment.
In the next academic year I look forward to developing
new Co-operative Learning strategies that can be used effectively and have
a positive impact upon future teaching and learning within the school |
