Aspects of co-operative learning, developed by Bob Slavin are built into the programme and have been very influential in developing the pedagogy within the SFA sessions. The structured way of developing Think, Pair, Share, Active Listening and the use of management signals has been very effective across the whole school.

The school is now looking to develop co-operative learning further, both in depth, and across the curriculum.
