Co-operative Learning within the EAZ
The Education Action Zone, in partnership with the
University of Hull have designed the basis of a programme to develop
Co-operative Learning in both primary and secondary schools within the NLC.
It is this programme that will form the basis of the NLC training,
implementation, research and development programmes over the next three
years.
Although there is a great deal of research and many
proponents of co-operative learning around the world the NLC has decided
to use the work undertaken in New Zealand schools as the basis for their
own programme.
We would like to gratefully acknowledge the research and
work of Don Brown and Charlotte Thompson in New Zealand, but also wish to
thank them most of all for their inspiration and infectious enthusiasm. |
