The school has not yet decided to implement the full programme but is having a number of workshops to see how the Co-operative Learning programme undertaken by the NLC can address many of the requirements of the National Key Stage 3 Strategy.

These workshops will show the relevance of the programme to the schools desired aim of driving up standards through a focus on teaching and learning as well as giving some practical insight into developing the basics structures of Co-operative learning.

A number of teachers within the school are already familiar with the need to develop learning partnerships in order to promote oracy skills with their students. Work has already been done within the CPA faculty and with the Maths teachers on the development of Active Listening and Think, Pair, Share.
